Prof. Anthony Rowbottom is Immunology Laboratory Director, Associate Clinical Director and Honorary Professor at Lancaster University. He sits on a number of national and professional bodies including RCPath, ACB and UKNEQAS. He is also the clinical lead for the MSc program in Immunology at Manchester University. 

He is currently the principle investigator for a number of projects covering the development of an artificial neural network to support the diagnosis of allergy in the community, development and validation of a novel point of care test and a basic science research project investigating the use of Raman spectroscopy to diagnose primary immunodeficiency.
